Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will be waiting for you after baggage claim and customs. They will be holding a sign with either your name or the name of Memphis Tours. A comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will then transport you to your hotel. Upon check-in, the tour manager will go over your holiday itinerary and confirm pick-up times for each tour to ensure a smooth experience.
Overnight in Cairo.
You will start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, followed by a visit to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, Mykerinus, the Sphinx, and Valley temple with your personal guide at 9:00 AM. After that, you will have lunch at a top-rated restaurant and then explore the Egyptian Museum to see the ancient artifacts. If time allows, you may also visit Khan El Khalili, Cairo's oldest bazaar. Finally, you will have a delicious dinner at your hotel
Overnight in Cairo.

After having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, your own guide will accompany you to explore the churches in the city. The tour will begin at the Church of the Virgin Mary in Ma'adi, followed by visits to the Hanging Church, St. Sergius, the Church of St. George and the Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo, where the Holy Family once traveled through. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for dinner and another overnight stay in Cairo

After having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will visit other important churches in the city. You will be transferred to El Matariya (Ancient Heliopolis Area) to see the holy tree known as "Mary's Tree," where the Holy Family once rested in its shade. This tree is said to have miraculously produced water from a spring that Jesus drank from. Next, you will climb up to see the aromatic balsam plant, which is used in perfumes and church rituals. Then, you will visit the Church of the Virgin Mary in the Zeiton area, adorned with paintings and carvings by Italian artists. After a day of sightseeing, you will have dinner at your hotel and stay overnight in Cairo.

After your morning meal, your personal guide will accompany you to Wadi El Natron, which is about 120 kilometers north of Cairo. This is the site where the Holy Family sought refuge and continued their journey.
Moving in a more westerly direction, the Holy Family eventually crossed the Nile River. Some sources suggest that they also visited Wadi al-Natrun, where four monasteries can still be visited today.

Depart after breakfast and embark on a journey south along the coastline to visit the Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul. These monasteries, dating back to the 4th century AD, are situated dramatically against the cliffs of the eastern desert. St. Anthony Monastery is known as the largest monastery in Egypt, with the church of St. Anthony constructed over his tomb. St. Paul Monastery, although younger, is adorned with impressive artifacts. Saint Paul is considered one of the first monks. Following this, we will travel to Upper Egypt to trace the route of the holy family, visiting El Minya for an overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.

In the morning, your private guide will accompany you on a drive to Jabal al Tair (the Birds Mountain) Ministry near El Minya city, where the holy family once rested in a cave that is now inside the Ancient Church. Afterwards, we will visit the Beni Hasan Rock tombs located on the Eastern Bank of the Nile. These rock-cut tombs from the Middle Kingdom, dating back 4000 years, depict scenes of local and regional life, including wrestling and military training

After breakfast in the morning, you will leave El Minya Hotel with your private guide to visit the necropolis of Tuna El Gabal. Here, you will see various significant elements such as the crypts of baboons and Ibis representing the god Thoth, the tombs of Isadora and the priest Pet-Osiers, the ancient water wheel, and the boundary stele of the city of the Aton. Continuing to Al-Ashmunien, you will explore the open museum with its colossal baboon statues and the ruins of the basilica church with Rose granite columns. Then, you will drive to Assuit and visit Al Muharraq Monastery where the Holy Family stayed for 6 months and 10 days, the longest period at a single site. The holy family received a divine message to return to Palestine at this site. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, check-in to your hotel in Assuit, and have dinner and spend the night there.

After having breakfast in Assuit, you will then proceed to visit Al Muharraq Monastery. Holy Family spent 6 months and 10 days at this Monastery. The holy family stayed at this site for the longest duration and received a divine message to return to Palestine. About 8 kilometers to the west of the monastery are the well-preserved rock-cut tombs of Miar, belonging to nobles and rulers from the 6th to 12th dynasties. Visiting these tombs will be an impressive experience. Afterward, you will be taken back to your hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight stay.
